Get to know how to get Instagram sponsored posts.

Brands are constantly looking for digital influencers and bloggers to promote their products and services. But many of these professionals (yes! digital influencers and bloggers are professionals!) aren’t sure on how to get sponsors.

That is why I decided to write this article! I have some tips for you on how to get sponsored on Instagram, Youtube, Blogs and other social media.

Before we get started, let’s just make sure we are on the same page:

What is a sponsored post?

Sponsored post happens when a brand/company decides to pay influencers or bloggers for creating a content related to their products or services and advertising it to their own audience.

The brand may pay the content creator in money or in products/services.

I personally prefer to call it a win-win partnership instead of sponsorship.

I like the idea of individuals working together to reach to a goal and I am sure it creates a nice relationship between brands and influencers.

But that’s me and probably because I worked in Procurement for over 10 years in big corporations and I value the partnership vibe better.

Tips on how to get sponsored on Instagram, Youtube and Blog

Find below some tips on how to get sponsored on Instagram, Youtube, Blog and any other social media:

1) Create high-quality content

First of all, you need to be a content creator in any social media to get a sponsor in this field.

Your content has to have a high level of quality as it is the first thing that brands will check it out.

This being said, make sure you use high-quality images, deliver value to your audience and be creative to stand out!

2) Never stop working on your audience

Build an audience

If you have a great content but nobody sees it, this won’t bring advertisement advantages to brands.

Create a relevant content and work on exposure so people can see you and follow you.

Know your audience

Knowing your audience helps you to create a relevant content to them and it is a great way to build a strategy to help a brand to grow and build a partnership proposal that will stand out.

It is also important that you understand and analyze your traffic data to get insights and improve your performance.

Engage your audience

More important than having too many followers, viewers and readers is to keep them engaged with you and your content.

3) Find partners

Don’t wait for brands to come after you!

Look for brands that have products or services that relate to your content, to your audience, that have a good reputation and send them a partnership/sponsorship proposal.

4) Be professional

Unfortunately a lot of brands have had bad experiences with influencers and bloggers who didn’t deliver what was promised.

This make us all look bad in the market, so we have to do double the work to build credibility to get sponsors.

How can I build credibility?

  • Present a high-quality content.
  • Have a professional media kit to send to brands.
  • Approach brands wisely.
  • Promise only what you can deliver.
  • Show your commitment during the beginning of the partnership, in the middle and at the end.
